The General Assembly adopted a resolution, reaffirming Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, expressing support for that country's internationally recognized borders and demanding the immediate withdrawal of all Armenian forces from all occupied territories there. Thirty-nine countries voted in favor of the resolution sponsored by Azerbaijan while seven, including Russia, the United States and France, cast no votes and another 100 abstained.
